Women Of The Moose (WOTM) The Women Of The Moose has three basic missions: to provide for our children at Mooseheart, our seniors at Moosehaven and community service. The WOTM, with roughly 500,000 members in 1800 member Chapters, comprise the female component of the Moose organization and have greatly contributed to the success of Mooseheart and Moosehaven through the sponsorship of many projects. In part, the WOTM help to finance the Health Department at Mooseheart and provide many Sponsorship Programs for Mooseheart Graduates. The objective of our Harrison Chapter 1804 is to bring together our co-workers in closer fraternal relationship. Our co-workers volunteer to serve and participate in civic projects that pertain to children, families and seniors. We assist with worthy drives and projects in our community. We visit those confined in senior citizen and nursing homes, assist with monetary donations to our community schools and student activities as well as many other worthy charities. And we promote the aims and purpose of the Loyal Order Of Moose. |

Our RADA KNIEF community service fund-raiser is doing very well, they are on display in the social quarters or at the monthly bake sale on the third Friday of every month from 3-8pm. We have some new gift sets that would be great holiday gift ideas. (All special orders must be paid for in advance). |

Pam became a Chapter 1804 Member on July 5, 1994. Her first involvement with the Chapter came as the Educational Advancement Chair during the 1998/1999 Chapter year. In the 1999/2000 fiscal year Pam was voted in as Chapter 1804 Chaplin followed by: Jr. Regent in 2000/2001, Sr. Regent in 2001/2002 and Jr. Graduate in 2002/2003. Pam served twice as their Chapter 1804 Secretary/Treasure in 2003/2004 and from 2005 to 2007. Pam has also served as College of Regent Chairman 2004/2005; Recorder 2007/2008 and this fiscal years Meeting Coordinator. Pam received her Academy of Friendship on March 5, 2000 and her College of Regents on June 27, 2007. Pam’s volunteering was never limited to her Chapter as she continues to serve as Youth Awareness Chairman and Gimmie 5 Chairman for District Eighteen, often helping them at the membership tables through-out the years. Pam traveled extensively through-out Michigan with her husband Mike during his terms as State President and Deputy Supreme Governor, helping when and wherever needed. Now in their second year, Pam and Mike continue to run the State Golf Tournament for the Michigan Moose Association. Pam’s volunteerism extended beyond the Moose working with the Hook A-Kid-On-Golf Program that both her and her husband ran here in Harrison. In 2003 Pam took on the challenge of Co-Editor of our Lodges “Moose News” Newsletter. Her contributions to the newsletter and the objectivity she has brought to it since has helped take the newsletter to new heights. Pam’s time and talent as well as her hard work has benefited Chapter 1804, our Lodge and the Moose Fraternity as a whole. Pam’s knowledge of the WOTM and of the Moose Fraternity is nothing less the impressive. Having her as a Moose member has certainly left footprints to follow. It is Pam’s knowledge of the Moose and her compassion for Mooseheart and Moosehaven that made her the obvious choice for this years WOTM Deputy Grand Regent. |
